Our vision on the sectors

The large number of associations, foundations and co-operation’s in The Netherlands can be conceived as deriving from the Dutch mentality of uniting, contributing, organising and creating. We consider these characteristics and organisations as extremely valuable in a flourishing community. But whereas on the one hand The Netherlands has a rich culture of establishing non-profit initiatives, on the other hand these organisations are more and more challenged: Increasing legislation, stricter supervision (for example the appointing of the WBTR for non-profit organisations as of 2021), restrictions due to corona and declining membership numbers have led to severe difficulties. It is not always easy to manage your organisation is a sustainable and solid way, nor may fiscal and legal demands contribute to comfortably manoeuvring a fast-changing cultural landscape. Lupacompany helps associations, foundations, and co-operations to get and remain financially, regulatory and strategically on track.

We work with many (small) associations in the form of for example VVE’s (Foundations of house-owners) and cultural nitiatives, but also with organisations that serve common interests or different parties that unite in the purchase of services.

Lupacompany in practice

Amongst other things, we have experience in managing the member administration of an association and took care of the pay roll administration of a co-operation. Lupacompany also supported foundations fiscally and legally, wrote budget- and annual financial statements and offered countless administrative and accounting services to both profit and non-profit organisations.
